Naho Takada (高 (たか) 田 (だ) なほ, Takada Naho^?) is a servant of the Butterfly Mansion.

Appearance

Naho is a light-skinned, young girl with black button-like eyes. Her hair is parted in the middle with two braided twin tails tied with green butterfly clips.

She wears a long-sleeved nurse uniform with a green wrap tied into a bow around her waist and white socks and shoes.

Personality

Naho is bright, cheery, and helpful, readily willing to help others.

History

After her family had been attacked by demons, Naho was taken in by the Butterfly Mansion by Shinobu and Kanae Kocho, along with Kiyo Terauchi and Sumi Nakahara. When Kanae was killed by a demon, she mourned her death with the rest of her adoptive family.

Synopsis

Rehabilitation Training Arc

Naho assists in stretching Inosuke.

Naho, along with Kiyo and Sumi, aided in rehabilitating Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira after becoming wounded during their battles on Mount Natagumo. The girls were responsible for stretching their bodies to become more limber, following their long stays in bed while in recovery.

Later, seeing Tanjiro grow frustrated at his lack of progress during rehabilitation against Kanao Tsuyuri, the three offered him advice regarding Total Concentration Constant, the key to the Hashira's and Kanao's superior abilities. They later informed Tanjiro that Kanao trains with special gourds to increase lung power, which he takes on enthusiastically. He later tasks them with beating him awake with carpet beaters should he stop using Total Concentration while sleeping, which they do with glee.

Naho, Sumi, and Kiyo see the trio off.

Eventually, Tanjiro improves his strength and speed, to the point where he can now contend with Kanao and destroy a small gourd. After Zenitsu and Inosuke follow Tanjiro's lead and all three succeed in mastering Total Concentration, Constant, they soon depart for their mission to assist the Flame Hashira. Naho and the girls see them off, tearfully telling them to be careful, though when Zenitsu asks if they are upset to see him leave, they deny it.

Entertainment District Arc

Naho and Aoi were both abducted by Tengen Uzui, who needed female Demon Slayers to infiltrate Tokyo's Yoshiwara. Kanao, Kiyo, and Sumi tried to stop the Hashira from doing so but they could not free them from the much bigger Demon Slayer. Tanjiro had interrupted when he heard the commotion and asked Tengen to release the girls, to which Tengen responded that he needs a female Demon Slayer to come with him for his mission and had planned for them to come. One of the little girls said that Naho doesn't even have the demon slayer uniform on, prompting him to throw her off, with Tanjiro catching her.

Abilities

As an ordinary human, Naho does not possess any additional powers or abilities. However, being one of the staff at the hospital ward of the Butterfly Mansion, she possesses a fair amount of knowledge. Notably, she helped teach Tanjiro the essential path to becoming stronger.

• Naho's surname, Takada, consists of the kanji for "high" (高 (たか) , taka^?) and "rice paddy" (田 (だ) , da^?).
