Muchirou's anger at Tanjirou for interrupting their leader

Shinobu suggests that Tanjirou be taken care of at her place and instructs two of the Kakushi to take him there. Kagaya attempts to start the Pillar Meeting, but Tanjirou interrupts him, still wanting to butt heads with Sanemi for hurting his sister. As the Kakushi members struggle to deal with the irate youth, Muichirou throws a pebble at Tanjirou for interrupting his leader, ordering them to leave. As they do so, Kagaya asks Tanjirou to give Tamayo his regards, much to the young Demon Hunter's confusion. He is then rushed to the Butterfly Estate, despite his numerous questions, by his enraged escort.

The Kakushi and Tanjirou find one of the Butterfly Estate's residents

Arriving at their destination, the Kakushi hesitate to enter the building uninvited, deciding to check the garden for any residents. They then encounter the Tsuguko, Tsuyuri Kanao, and attempt to ask her permission to enter the premises, but she ignores them, too engrossed with admiring the garden's butterflies. They are then startled by another of the estate's residents, who demands to know who they are. As they fumble to explain themselves, the girl recognizes them as Kakushi and asks if Tanjirou is hurt, instructing them to follow her without waiting for a reply.

Tanjirou and Zenitsu reunite

Elsewhere in the building, Zenitsu is complaining to another resident about the medicine he has to take. Tanjirou, the Kakushi, and the resident girl arrive, with the latter scolding Zenitsu for his constant complaining. Tanjirou and Zenitsu renuite, the scarred youth asking his friend if he is alright, and Zenitsu responding by bitterly complaining about everything he has been through since the Natagumo Mountain incident. Tanjirou asks Zenitsu about Inosuke and Murata, and the towheaded youth tells him that Inosuke is right next to him. Tanjirou asks Inosuke to forgive him for not coming back to help him, but is told not to worry about it. Dumbfounded by Inosuke's different sounding voice, Tanjirou is told by Zenitsu about their friend's condition: a badly injured throat.

After a rundown of Tanjirou, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko's respective conditions, the four comrades take a much deserved rest. They are later visited by Murata, who explains what happened to him when he was summoned to the Pillar Meeting, and Shinobu, who tells them that their functional recovery training was about to begin.
